Lipsy is looking for an intern for within our Public Relations department to work 5 days a week. This position has an immediate start and is available for a minimum of 1 month.

We are seeking a strong and experienced Retail Director to drive sales and strive for constant improvement across all operations. Reporting to the CEO, you will successfully manage the performance of all retail stores, leading a team of 3 Area Managers, Retail Operations Team, VM Manager and 3rd party relationships with host store management.
Role:
- To be the driving force behind constantly increasing in-store sales, improving customer service experience and operations
- Improve the current reporting and KPI processes to support growth strategy
- Lead from the front with gravitas, credibility, gaining respect and buy in from the entire team and business as a whole
- Influence and communicate effectively with departments in the business, including HR, E-Commerce, PR, and Merchandising to ensure smooth and effective operations and drive improvements where necessary

- Commercial approach with a strong VM background to further develop the Lipsy look and feel in all stores
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish strong relationships with 3rd party management and franchise partners
- Proven track record in leading managers to achieve sales and service KPI's

Role:
- Research, design, and development of graphics for casual fashion jersey, branded clothing, Logo product, nightwear, gift wear, metal hardware and packaging.
- CAD drawings for presentation purposes and design sheets for factory use.
- Design in a variety of ways in order to create accurate graphics and prints for garments ensuring brand values and briefs are met being mindful of factory's specifications.
- Review, analyse, and comment to factories as a part of the sample/ strike offs artwork approval process.
- Be aware of current and emerging graphic trends and executions at both catwalk and high street level.
- Liaise and work with other departments in the business including Product Development.
Essential Requirements:
- Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop to an excellent standard
- Hand drawing skills
- Knowledge of print/ embroidery techniques and applications.
- Good CAD design skills.

Lipsy Design Studio Placement

Retail Production Coordinator - 12 Month Contract
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a growing and fast paced team. You'll be supporting the Retail Production team in all areas of production including: attending sign offs, doing fabric approvals, negotiating prices and managing the critical path. Junior Technologist / Garment Technologist

We have an opportunity for a Junior Technologist / Garment Technologist to join our busy Technical Department. Reporting to the Technical Manager your main responsibilities will be:
- Regularly review and suggest updates on QA policies and processes.
- Conduct competitor shopping reports. Responding quickly to the development opportunities and implications of emerging trends.
- Participate in product knowledge compilation and training.
- Assess fabric test reports and advise solutions on failing fabrics.
- Ensure that Lipsy goods are produced in manufacturing units which comply with Lipsy code of conduct.
- Report on supplier quality and product performance to the business and to suppliers (quantitative and qualitative). Ensuring suppliers understand the Lipsy standards and procedures and adhere to these.
